That's gonna be ugly and not easy to avoid especially if coming from Deadwood headed toward Hill. I'll be there next Friday. Wondering if heading from Sturgis through Nemo and then Johnson Siding may avoid the worst of it?

So is the construction between hill city and hwy 44? If you get on 385 from 44 are you avoiding it?

nope, construction is up past that turn by a few miles, no way to avoid it if you want to take 385 from hill city to deadwood
