Tall rider 2008 Fxdl
Got my first Harley in April and I love it. I am 6'6" and about 250 so I felt somewhat like monkey on the football thing. Since I am new to this site I figured I'd write about what I've done towards making the bike fit me better. So far I've purchased the Lepera Daytona sport DLL seat the bike had stock forward controls but I got a 2in forward control extension kit then I added offset footpeg extensions. I am now sitting very comfortable on the bike after doing the offsets the shifter peg was to short so I had to make one in order to shift gears without a lot of foot movement. I do however need to get a new brake rod and pad but I can handle the way it is for now until I can afford to buy a new one I'd also like to put a new set of bars on it as well but I'm still debating what style and size on the bars. As for now it feels awesome when I'm on it riding. I ride it every chance I get. I'm sure there more I could add but I have to get busy making some mobwy
