My external breather, SE air cleaner

My external breather, SE air cleaner
I picked up a couple of 1/4" barb---> 1/8 NPT fittings, a 1/4 barb T, a breather and some 1/4" fuel hose.
The only expensive part was the 1/8NPT tap.....
Drilled and tapped the SEAC, and ran the hose to the bottom of the bike. I didn't want to run any horizontal, as I don't want everything pooling, so it is almost straight down.
A couple of zip ties, and it's neatly hidden under, and in front, of the engine.
Should work...

Hey! That looks familiar. Nice work!
I'm using SS braided hose on mine. You can see it HERE.

If the silicone breaks loose, it will get sucked into the engine. The key is to make a larger bulb of the RTV at the end furthest from the throttle body. There is not that much suction on those, and with the bulb, it makes it virtually impossible for it to get sucked in.

DK thanks, that's a good tip for the silicon bulb, not all pros are that giving, feel better about doing it :-)
I just look at the kits you offer, and use the big sucker as you mention, is the 2' hose kit enough to get the breather basically in the same area as SafetyMan's?

How likely is it to get sucked in?
I was playing with it a bit, the ends were cured, and I applied 100psi to the end of the hose closed one breather port off to clear the hoses... it oozed, but didn't shoot out...
I am going to do it right, but have a ride planned tomorrow.... and I want to be sure it is cured beforehand.
