HD rider backrest with other brand seats???

Default HD rider backrest with other brand seats???
Thinking about ditching my sundowner instead of modifying it and getting a seat from one of the specialized seat brands. Will my adjustable HD rider backrest work with any of the seats out there other than Harley?
