Been doin some shopping for a riders backrest and was wondering what those who have one have and if they are pleased with their purchase. Pros and cons are welcomed. I love my Mustang seat (regal pillow touring or something), but would like a backrest to help my lower back comfort on long rides. My seat does not have a slot to put a backrest in and know that I will have to get a whole other seat. Just don't want to spend $400+ for a seat in a book just to find it doesn't fit or is not comfy. Thanks in advance for all replies!
I have a backrest left over from my softail that fit perfectly between the two seats, if you are interested I can send photos. Send me your email to compassgold@bellsouth.net.
I had the adjustable Harley one with the cable for about 5 minutes. I thought it was the ugliest thing I ever installed. Yanked it,sold it and bought the CVO one for street glide. It's a little pad. Still adjustable manually but I never need to adjust it.
Man it makes a huge difference on the lower back on long rides. I never will take it off. Love it.

Sheepskin
-for me it's been the perfect setup for LD rides.
So comfortable I rarely want to get off the bike.
And the sheepskin stuffed into a pillow case makes a great camping pillow.
