Default 2014 limited passing light switch

My passing light switch is broken and needs to be replaced. DIY or take it to the dealer for ESP? $50 charge for that. How difficult?

Take it the dealer, you need a new switch pack and it'll cost more than $50.

It's easy to replace, might think of upgrading to lighted switch packs though

Geez, who would have thought that? I was thinking $20.

The switch that's broken, aren't you referring to the switch on the inner fairing dash panel?

Edit - If so, it's less than $20 at the dealer and it's a do-it-yourself installation. Part #71400044.

Think he may be referring to the high beam switch - on the left switch pack

Passing light push button switch next to the ignition. Not on the handle bars.

That's the switch I was referring to in my first post.

Do I have to take that all apart or can I just do it from the top?

Let the ESP take care of it you'll save a few $$ and recoup some of your ESP cost JMO

OK - I call those the auxiliary lights. You have a 14 - not sure when you purchased it - but assume it is out of the 2 year warranty.

Since you have the ES, I would take it to the dealer and have them replace it. By the way, I think you are the first to ever mention this switch failure.
