Default 30 Tooth Transmission Pulley

Has anyone change their transmission belt drive pulley from the stock 32 tooth to the Andrews Good Acceleration Belt Drive 30 Tooth Transmission Pulley - 290306.
Claims are more bottom end torque and pull.

Your freeway speed RPMs will be a bit higher.

I have the rivera game changer, I went from a 34 front tooth on the comp. to a 32 tooth and I love it. I turn 250 more rpm's than stock. Don't even notice it on the interstate at all. One of the best mod's I've ever done.

Dropping front pulley teeth is a trade off, you get more off the line and low end seat of the pants grunt but but lose a bit on the upper end by higher RPM's at cruising speeds. On today's overgeared bikes it isn't much of an issue.

With six speeds it's a waste of money IMO I'm not doing anything to reduce MPG and Range it's a tour bike.

My stock SGS is fine with the torquey cams in stock form. My go fast bike is a Suzuki VStrom, very easy to change up different sprockets. I changed the gearing in it and found that taking off from a stop sign with a bit more spirit was not as important as cruising down the highway at a realistic rpm (which is where both my bikes spend a lot of their time). I changed it back to one tooth bigger on rear sprocket.
My friend put in 57h cams in his RGS and even though he felt he didn't lose on the bottom, he still went ahead and put in one of those plastic spacers and Game Changer sprocket deals.
For some reason he didn't like it. Removed it.

I think its a good to great mod. Harley's are way over geared. Down two on the front is a pretty big change though. Up two on the rear would be nice, probably perfect. Or, even dropping 1 on the front would be a nice hit. Impact is more at the front.

We are only talking a few hundred to 500 rpm. Just enough to mitigate 6th gear lugging high posted speeds.

250 rpm's in sixth gear period. I love mine but thats just me I guess, not for everyone.
