Default Exhaust for '14 FLHTK

Hello All!
I am brand new here as well as a new (to me) HD owner.
I have a 2014 Limited with a stock exhaust system. While I have a list of changes / upgrades I want to make to my bike, my wide INSISTS that the first thing we do is get louder pipes! Far be it from me to deny her this request.
So here is my question:
We would like to change the stock mufflers to something a little deeper and louder, but not so loud as to annoy my neighbors at 6;00am when I leave for work. We like the looks and sound of Rinehart pipes. Is there any other suggestions of what might be a good alternative? Also, where is a good place / website to buy from?

Thanks for the help.
Gary

I put the Screaming Eagles slip ons on my 14 and love them. There mellow sounding when just cruising and when you crack the throttle they come alive. If your looking for something a little louder than stock and deeper sounding, then the Screaming Eagles are for you. Good luck.

I was in the same boat with the same bike last year. Over the winter I installed V&H Monster Ovals anlong with a V&H Power Duals headpipe. I couldn't be more satisfied with the sound of the bike. It's not obnoxiously loud but does bark a litt as the throttle rolls back. At cruising speed the noise is acceptable I don't have to crank up the stereo to hear it.
I also installed a V&H naked intake and used the stock air cleaner cover and installed a V&H FP3 to adjust for the changes. The bike is now as it should have been on day one.

I went with the RCX 4.5 and am happy with them. But that doesn't mean you will be. Go out and listen to different exhausts on the same model and make an informed decision.

The Screamin Eagle High Flow system will really wake up the bike, sound nice, and still EPA compliant but will not roast you as the Cats are in the mufflers.

I have had Rineharts, V & H, Screaming Eagle, Fuel Moto Jackpots. Rineharts are loudest, you will bother the neighbors if they aren't motorcycle friendly. The V & H would be similar to what you are looking for as a compromise. Screaming Eagle and Jackpots are muffled.but louder than stock. Good bark when throttled. I use the Fuel moto Jackpots and they are just right for me. Not to noisey when running 60 down the road. Just right for me.

You're going to get a lot of opinions here but my vote is for Rush Big Louies. Deeper and a bit louder than stock. Mellow while cruising but a nice bark when you twist the right wrist.
