Default Cruise cutting out and no gear indicator

Rode 100 miles in the pouring rain today and the cruise cut out on me. Also noticed that the gear indicator stopped working. It would come back momentarily after shifting so I’m thinking it’s the clutch switch in the left switch housing...sometimes I have to double clutch to get my bike to start in gear.

Anyone else have this issue?

To be clear the cruise didn’t shut off, it just canceled.

Does your neutral light work? Crap on the sender can/could be your problem ?

The left side switch pack has a history of not liking H20. The moco could have done a better job on sealing from the elements. Never heard of any problems on the right switch pack.

Buddy had this issue on his '15. Left side switch was the culprit. Dealer said that MoCo is on the 4th generation of that switch now. They have had many replacements.

Yep as others have said new left switch pack.
If it interests you good time to upgrade to the lighted switch packs.

This may not be for everyone but I've had good success by flooding the switch housing with WD-40 when this happens.

Same as me, had the dealer replace the with a non-lighted switch pack under my ESP.
