2015 Ultra Limited battery removal
I have followed the owner's manual to the point where I can access the battery but can't get my hands in to get a good enough grip on it to remove it. Funny enough, the manual shows a battery pull strap to assist in this exact issue but I don't have one (maybe it was missed or is no longer a feature ?). Any advice is appreciated...thanks

Don't know about the '15. The strap was included on the '16. When you do get the battery out if there isn't a removal strap you can make one out of fiber packing tape. Works great.

My 15 did have a strap, but it was useless. What I did but you have to be careful and have a second set of hands helping you.
i put a bolt in the positive and Negative post then used 2 pair of channel lock plies. When it was1/2 way out my son grabbed it and we were able to remove the battery. I put a storage blanket between the battery and the body so as not to cause any spark.
good luck.

I use a piece of 550 paracord with ring terminals on the ends. I attach this strap to the battery and lift straight our on the 550 cord. I work on Polaris ATVs for the military and have been using this method for years and has never failed me.
