Default Ultra Limited FLHTK Passenger Pegs

This is a question and a PSA.

Question: my so is vertically challenged SO cannot reach the floor boards on my '15 FLHTK. I am looking for a solution, i.e raising the existing floor boards. I purchased BN-090-10 Floorboard Comfort Kit from eglide goodies but they stick out to far which get in the way of my legs when I put them down. They stick out like 2 inches. They are high enough though. They are manufactured by LA Choppers. Quality is good they just stick out too far. I am looking for something that just raises the floorboards. Any ideas appreciated.

The PSA part of the story is "caveat emptor" or buyer beware. I did not do due diligence in my research and was charge $125.00 (100 for the part, 25 for shipping and handling) for a part that is sold and shipped for less than $75.00 dollars. This is on me. Shop around!!!

You should be able to raise them to the next notch on the frame

I've had great luck with these...They also lock in the straight up position.

I have a '15 Limited Low FLHTKL. The factory passenger boards are smaller than the FLHTK units, so they fold up more out of the way when backing up. I don't know how they compare in regards to height.... the top of the board is about even with the top of the derby cover.

May be worth a sit down at the local dealer to try some out.

HD sells a different (higher) passenger floorboard bracket for this very reason. I have them on my Limited. I’ll see if I can find a part number.
