Anyone going to the swap meet in Keene NH this weekend? Its my first time there and I was wondering what to expect. Just moved here from Wisconsin, its beautiful out here in New England!!! Accept.. No Bret Favre

Welcome to NE Dave! The Keene meet is a pretty good one. As far as what to expect.........the usual! Over priced ****! lol. Seriously, this is a big one! Lots of bike parts, lots of food, lots of people, lots of fun. Be patient. Takes several hours to really look everything over.Chances are, if there's some obscure part you need, you'll find it here. Have fun!

 

most of the parking is on grass. With all the rain we have had lately bring something of your choice to put under your kick stand just in case you are guided to park in a wet spot. I have a flatened aluminum can in my bag, it works good.

It's kind of like a spring kick off.
It's well worth the five bucks.
It's a place where you can seebuddies that you rarely see the rest of the year.

The parking lot is amazing with mods and painton bikes of all years

Thanks for the info guys, Sounds like it will be fun. What kind of vender's are there? Any of the big guys? My chick is looking for slip-ons for her new sporty among other things...lol

Naw, most of the vendors you see will be the small guys cleaning out years of accumulated misc junk parts! There is a good share of folks with new stuff also, but no "big names". Not to say there isn't some decent quality items........plenty of it! Usually a fair amount of custom made leather at Keene...........I think you'll like what you see! And what the hell, the weather's supposed to pretty good! Nice day for a ride! Have fun

 

I have never been to one....I may have to take the ride also....what the hell....a ride is a ride..

 

I was going to go to the white mountains today, but it is a bit chilly.

 

It was flipping cold on the way down this morning..WOW We had a good time though.. fried bread dough?? A first for me.. was great.. had a couple..lol

 

yup, it was chilly. It got my nose running. I stayed a couple 3 hours and headed north on 12a.
12a is a nice back road with lots of twisties. I look foward to this ride todat. I hope all of you faired well as well. I had lot to get done today and the list is finished,

All the fresh air made me sleep, so I'll talk more later.
