NEW !!!! LaconiaFest at the Drive - In location, which has been vendor and parking area in the past. Steven Tyler, Bret Michaels, Buck Cherry, Saving Abel, Ted Nugent, more in line up still being announced. As posted on 5-10-16, bands supporting main acts start at 6, headliners at 9:30pm. Serious change in the Rally's entertainment:

For a minute there I thought you meant there wasn't going to be rain!

 

Speedway announced Jackyl playing following the race on 18th.


Huge leap at Laconia this year, from local bands, to national acts.

 

First post in thread has been updated, to include links to event schedules.

 

Can't believe this is coming up so fast! Also, prices for the "fest" dont seem too good.

As to the advance prices for the Fest, I don't think they are real out of line. Depends what they charge at the gate thou.


I'm paying $85 for Skynrd/Frampton on Saturday, but re-sale, in 12th row.


General admission for Fest in advance was $65 for Tyler's Country Show, $45 or less for others. Which is about/little less than what you would pay at the Wilbur for those acts.


I think we passed on $75 at the "Chip" in Sturgis, last year. Don't recall the act.


It's all a personal choice on the Music you like.


The band I will probably enjoy the most at Laconia this year, is a free show, Manchuka at Patio Garden Sun & Thurs.

 

Weirs on Monday... (after a weekend of rain and cold and wind, ugh)

 

Not like it used to be. Not as much traffic or crowds. I was over today and it appeared to be less people.

 

There were plenty of parking spots on the street on Thursday, too....went into Weirs again Saturday and it was mobbed.

 

I think it was well attended, but the "fest" flopped:
