i changed the crankcase oil last weekend and it went fine . this is new to me and its a little confusing do you check the tranny level on the jiffy stand or when the bike is level.Any help would be appreciated also shoud the dipstick be screwed in or not every video i watch they all do it different

 

Stop watching videos! There is no certainty they are right for your model and year, refer to your owners manual. If you don't have one go to the H-D website, where you should be able to download one for free, vis their Owners link.

 

thanks i went on the harley owners website it said to check it on the jiffy stand
