Default OIl filter chart

Does anyone know how current the cross over chart is in the "what oil filter do you use" thread? I have seen Wix says what HD filter crosses to theirs but when I called Napa to see what Napa filter crosses to the Wix number they said none do. What filters other than HD,K7N or Amsoil can I use on my 2010 FLHTCU?

Keep it simple and use the HD filter. There are issues with bypass relief, filter media, particle size, etc. that, IMHO, are not worth sortign out. The H-D filter was designed for your Harley; the other were not. They may fit your Harley but were not designed for your Harley. Spend the extra $4-$5 twice a year; a small investment for your $20K motorcycle.

Just cause it's designed for your Harley does'nt mean it's the best made filter for your Harley.
Like Harleys oil.

The Wix #57148, CARQUEST #84148, Napa #PS7148 .. All these filters cross with Harley'sfilter, and are made by Wix.. I e-mailed Wix on the carquest and Wix filter for information, still waiting for a reply.. Wix is a very reputable filter company. If they say it meets Harleys filter then I believe.. I do have the Wix filter on bike now... 2010 FLHTK... Amsoil's filters are absolute filters. Claim the most effitiant oil filter on the market today.. Hope this helps..

I'm running the Wix on mine now for the first time- always HD filter prior. After 1500 miles zero difference in bike sound or oil pressure. Wix makes a very high quality filter- run it with confidence.

The Wix 57148 to me is the same as Harley's.. The engine sounds the same. The oil pressure on the Wix is 32psi rideing with engine hot. I honestly can't remember what the Harley's was.. I believe the same but not possitive. The CARQUEST 84148 filter made the engine quieter. Same oil pressure.. Notice the numbers on both filters ? Last 3 digits are same.?? e-mailed CARQUEST and no reponse..
