Default Getting most of the oil out of the engine... making your own scavenger puck

I lost a link to this... any one have info on this?
I saw pictures of drilling two holes in an old filter to pull dirty oil out after it is filled with new oil. crimping a oil line too.
I'm just **** and like the oil to at least look fresh after and oil change

Place drain pan under bike.
Remove drain plug.
Let the oil drain out.
Install plug.
Change filter (lube the gasket).
Refill oil tank with any major brand 20W50 oil.

If you use this simple method, the engine will last just as long as using the messy, unnecessarily complicated, risky and ridiculous scavenger method.

For the life of me I don't know why people bother with this thing, there isn't that much oil left in the engine after its been drained. There might be a total of 12 oz if it has an oil cooler. I've got a lot better things to spend my money on.
