Bro...the great debate... I use Mobil 1 V-Twin in the crank and the primary... Mobil1 75/90 in the transmission. The reason I do this is because I can buy Mobil1 at ANY Autozone in the country and its 8 or 9 bucks a quart... Is Amsoil as good???? of course it is!!!! but I buy Mobil 1 cause its easy...oh well just my 02 worth...

Mobile V Twin is fine oil, I like the 75/90 choice in the tranny (I stop, at the “one in three holes : ) I just can’t deal with that : - ) I use MCV 20-50 (6.90 a qt, $9.25 list)) then MCF- 10-40 in the primary, tranny gets FQR 75/90, I really like syn mainly because of “its too slippery” : - ) and the heat take of syn oil, Dino isn’t in the same league, the product line, that 4 stroke small engine 30 wt syn is running in the lawn buggy and the gen. hay $4.80 a qt, list $6.05 !

Sorry no great debate, if I didn’t use AMSOIL it would most likely be V Twin !

Take care, ride safe !

When you fill the crank case stop a half quart short. Go for a short ride then check the level when hot and adjust as needed.
