Valvoline 4-Stroke ATV Oil in the Primary?
I currently use Valvoline conventional 10W-40 oil that I purchase via a 5-quart jug from the local Walmart in the primary. Been using it for 1000's of miles. It's inexpensive and convenient to purchase. I know many people on the forum recommend HD's Formula + Transmission and Primary Chaincase Lubricant. I'm looking to change the oil I use in the primary to one that has a JASO specification. I noticed that Valvoline has a conventional 10W-40 oil product that has a JASO MA specification and is fairly inexpensive. It's their: Valvoline 4-Stroke ATV Conventional 10W-40 Motor Oil
Is anyone using this in the primary? What do people think? Looks like I can pick it up at the local Walmart for about $4.50 per quart.

Anyways, the Valvoline oil seems to be over $1 per quart cheaper and I'm frugal.

Interesting. It looks like this Super Tech oil and the Mobil 1 Racing 4T are both full synthetic and JASO MA2 rated. I wonder if there is a non-synthetic oil that is JASO MA2 rated?
