Not pushing just Amsoil. My guy didn't have recently and used a another very high quality lube. But the key was, separate 75-90 Gear in the trans and it sitll shifts like butter. The point isn't Amsoil is the best - its trans should always be 75-90 or similar Gear oil.
Manual for my 2020 RGS has Formula + and Syn 3.
I know for 36k now, Syn 3 is what’s in mine as the esp I had to 30k, had Syn 3 in it for servicing.
I am changing to Formula +, in both primary and tranny, at 40k as I will be doing the servicing here on out.
I run Valvoline VR-1 full Syn in engine since the 35k service. What i run in all my performance engines since I can remember.
No need for the “latest fad brands”, but to each their own as we say.
They're not trying very hard then. It's at all three of the auto parts store here in my little mountain town plus one local Indy carries it as well. It can ALWAYS be ordered from Walmart with free delivery pretty damn cheap.........

I have run Formula + and HD360 in all my bikes forever, as it does its job admirably...but, in my 2020 RGS I switched to the HD 80w140 in both primary and trans shortly after it came out, about 50,000 miles ago and I can't see myself ever choosing F+ over it, despite the price difference..I do my own fluid changes so that's a $ saver ... the 80/140 performance improvement is not a placebo effect, it's noticeably obvious .. recommend you could give it a try and see for yourself ... I switched to SYN3 in the engine about the same time after using HD360 exclusively on all my previous Harleys and I am so impressed how the entire powertrain functions / operates ...I hope to hit 100,000 miles in the next 18 months or so and would not be surprised if it gets there still without a single problem .. but also wouldn't shock me if something fails approaching 100K, which of course is certainly possible
