I have a 2009 FXSTB and the trans oil is a coffee color. I am talking your iced coffee colour only with a bit of extra milk added.
I am wondering if its normal or contaminated?
I would appreciate any help on this one.

I've just changed the trans oil in my Buell, which is exactly as you describe. A long ride will get rid of any water contamination, alternatively it may simply be churned up if you recently rode it. You could change it, which is easy enough, but next time you look it will probably look the same!

Huh, funny, ride on. I already bought the Redline so I might as well swap it over. The bike has done 10,000 miles and the service manual says change it at 18,640 miles so I will just go a bit early and then I don't have to worry about it for 18 months or so.
Thanks so much for your help guys.
