After 5 days I'm home from the hospital. Now to rest heal up and fix the bike.

No but he did state first" I don't know anything about motorcycles but" lol. I actually got close to the same description from the manager at the wrecker yard.

Well figured i should update this. I start physical therapy for my leg 8 months after the accident. Bike was fully repaired and runs and looks great after 9k+ in damages. In the last month I've taken it on two short 1-2 miles rides to get comfortable again.

Keep pushing forward. I spent 33 days in the hospital and just kept going. The hardest part was keeping my head straight. Depression can set in quick.

I appreciate it. I was able to ride around town for about 45min this past weekend and plan on getting out this weekend too.
