Default Got me

Got hit today by a 17yo girl who didn't stop or look thru an intersection. State trooper says bike looks most likely cosmetic damage. Me laying here with a fractured pelvis.

Sorry to hear that. Stay strong, follow the doctors advice and take the physical therapy.

You'll be back. I broke my femur head ball off July 2023. I went from catching baseballs to couldn't get my socks on. At 74, I was very depressed.

I spent 7 days in the hospital, the doctor put the Insurance guys off long enough for a bed to open up in a special therapy and rehab hospital.

Stayed there 10 days. Still had 10 more out patient therapy sessions twice since then.

I am fine now. Only issue is the cut area makes that long thin mussel that attaches to your butt and runs around and down the front of your thigh gets sore if I over do it.

I'm in the gym 3 days a week.

You will get better but it will take awhile if surgery is required. They told me a year and that's what it took.

Takes 3 months if your young

Take care young man ... Happened to me about 55 years ago ... Gal made a right turn from the center left hand turn lane and I center punched her ... Spent a while in traction ... We rise like the Phoenix

Hopefully quick recovery. It’s getting dangerous out there no matter what you driving. Almost no one stops at lights or stop signs here.

They had me up and using a walker today (briefly), first steps I've taken since Saturday at noon. Possibly being discharged tomorrow, then lots of PT.
