Group ride, July 4th. Everett to Leavenworth
Lets celebrate the birth of our Great Nation with a ride to Leavenworth for lunch at Blewett Brewery! America!
We'll meet at the Denny's in Everett (2903 Pacific Ave, Everett, WA) at 0930, short rider brief at 0950 and kickstands up at 1000. We should arrive around 1200, its about two hours and 100 miles. Please arrive with a full tank. I have an orange Fat Bob and will be easy to spot.
We will travel north on Pine St, East on Hewitt Ave, merge onto Highway 2 East, brief stop in Stevens Pass, ride to Leavenworth, turn Southeast on 9th and find parking, possibly behind Blewett Brewery (911 Commercial St, Leavenworth, WA).
The route back to Denny's will be similar but in the opposite direction. Northwest on 9th (or what ever is most conducive to getting to the 76 station on the North Side of Highway 2) Fuel up, Head West on Highway 2, brief stop in Stevens Pass, ride to Everett, exit onto California St, South on Pine St to Denny's.
After lunch, around 1300 we'll depart and ride back to Denny's, arriving around 1500 leaving plenty of time to grab beer, fireworks, and meat on the way to a BBQ!
Weather is predicted (you know Washington though) to be sunny and 60's to 80's along the way. We will stop briefly in Stevens Pass to adjust clothing and whatnot. Please feel free to ask questions or make statements if I have missed something. Please reply if you're going.

Since there is so little interest I told my friends that live in Lake Stevens I'll just meet them out there. If anyone is interested and just hasn't spoken up we are meeting for coffee at starsucks in frontier village in Lake Stevens at 0930.
I would like to do some group rides and meet people so I want to know why no one is going. Do you have previous plans? Are you working on the 4th? Have I over planned this and you think it won't be fun? Bad start location? Bad destination? Too far? Please let me know so I can interest some folks and bring this from the computer to road.
