I have the 17 FXDLS in my signature, and just got my first registration renewal. $684 for ONE YEAR???

Any of you have new HD's and are paying unreasonable registration? DMV is stonewalling me on why it's so high. Here's the breakdown:
Registration Fee- 42
License Fee- 549
Weight Fee- 0
Special Plate Fee- 42 (I have a personalized tag)
County/District Fees- 10
Owner Responsibility Fee- 0

That's $684. My 15 Subaru didn't cost that much the first year, and the second is up right now for $412. For reference, my 99 Sporty was $118 last year.

What are you paying a year, and what do you ride? If everyone else with a 16/17 HD is paying this much then I'm going to suck it up and pay, but if this is irregular I'm going to have to start dealing with Sacramento.

 

Holy cow I just renewed my wife's Sporty for $24 dollars in Pasco, Florida.
I think cars are like $50.

 

holy shyte. $700 for a bike.

 

2 year registration in PA = $36

 

A little over $60 here in N. Texas for either car or bike.

Interesting. I'm a San Diego County resident, so it's not like I live in the cheap boondocks. My new '17 Road King, that I bought 7/1/17, cost $228 for 1 year registration.
