Anyone been out to Death Valley lately? I have a trip planned out there in Oct, and the new Bagger mag has a feature story on the riding there.

I tried to put a ride together for early next year but no one seem interested. I hear it is an awesome ride in early spring.

I have been out there twice. The view from Dante's peak is awesome! There is more to do than some people think. From what I remember gas is really expensivein the park , but it is available. There is aplace or two to eat. It still gets warm 90's in Oct. there but its cool up high.

We do Death Valley every now and then ... but NOT in summer.

October may be okay ... Furnace Creek is a nice stopping spot formeals and even lodging nearby... you can go North to see Scotty's Castle or go into Beatty (cheap lodging? gambling) ... south of Furnace Creek is nice riding, too.

Have fun, explore ... but just in case, bring lots of water.
