Default Cycle World First Look

Lots of interesting tidbits from Cycle World's phone interview with the engineers. Some details on the variable valve timing, and on things like the torque curve. For example, while peak torque is at 6,750 RPM, they say that's not the whole story:

Peak torque of 94 pound-feet comes at 6,750, but in engines with this kind of wide, flat torque, this is misleading: This peak is not a spike, but merely the highest point on a nearly flat line.
