Well, I've had the tank off and the top of the airbox off. I guess I'll deal with the clamp when I get to it. I'll document it so others won't struggle with it.

I'm doing well with it. The PA seat and riding position actually works a bit better than the Road Glide's.

Added a set of highway pegs. I took the PA out to Montana last month to do some riding... burn some serious highway between here and there... so just cuz it's an ADV bike doesn't mean i don't want some pegs.

I got these from Ilium Works - they make stuff mostly for BMW's - but the size of the rear tubes was the same - so i gave them a whirl. Fit like a glove - no mods. I really like these pegs - especially with the ball joint and rotation they have on them.

Their part nmbr is 32-100BL - they ran $315 (I know someone will be curious)

Those are great pegs; I had them on my GS/A and K16.

You realize the rear rack has to come off to mount the side racks? Don't ask me how I know.

Glad you posted this. I was thinking it was side had to come off to mount top. Good information, mount side first.

Mine didn't. Just had to remove the seat to get to the four bolts underneath it.

The front two rear rack bolts also hold the rear of the side racks. You can take the front two rear rack bolts out, back off the back two rear rack bolts, and slide the side racks under the rear rack.
