Just looking to protect the saddlebag lids. Seems they take the most abuse.
About the same price. The leather lid protectors or the transparent film guards.

Have to take the covers off everytime I wash. I know 3M makes a film.
How does the harley stuff hold up. Bike is vivid black if it matters.

 

I too am interested in this. I just bought a new 2018 Ultra Limited in black. I was talking to the salesman about installing the HD paint guard kit for the saddle bags while the bike sits at the shop waiting for weather to improve. The salesman said they have had issues with the installation and removal of the product. Additionally he complained about air bubbles...he was going to suggest a different product, not HD but 3M...he couldn't remember the name.
