How do I remove wiring for powder coat prep
How do I remove the wiring from the headlight, rear light bar, front turn signals to prep for powder coat?

our shop does that for customers... you can either cut the lines and solder them or you can undo the wires at the plugs and pull them though.

Joe does your shop cut and solder or remove the wires from the plug with the appropriate tools that release the wires? Does it matter?

really depends, i have the plug removal tool and we use it, but sometimes they really fight us so at times it is faster to cut solder and shrink wrap. either way it is done perfect when our customers get them back
