Wanting to change from a 2 tone to a solid red, with standard HD graphics on tank, tour pac.

Any good painters in Pensacola, Fl area you'd suggest?

Thought the real expense was in graphics.

Okay, so what does a Ford Escort cost.

you want a/c and auto with that? the devil is in the details. i would be more concerned with the quality of work than the cost. your starting point should be finding a good painter.

I paid a grand even (Canadian) for my roadking. One colour three part paint, base pearl and metallic, then clear. Turned out incredible, put on OE tank badges myself. Well worth it, he baked the parts for me too.

Thanks. That's the kind of ballpark price range I was wanting. Probably didn't do a very good job asking, but...

Really like Firemantaz22 bikes color. Its A 2009 Red Hot Sunglow Electra Glide.

If I can ride away with this quality paint job for 1k, I'll be one happy SOB.

Yes, I'd love to have graphics added, but all I really need (need = afford) is Harley on tank & tour pac. Harley put a decal on tank then clear coated. I may do the same thing.

Now if only I could get a quality painters reference within 100 miles of Pensacola. Only place I've had any dealings with is an auto collision shop, seen couple of their auto paint jobs and they looked good.

I've only been riding a 1 1/2 years...bucket list type thing. and always rode solo. so don't know any local references/painters. only painters i know live in Arkansas, my home state.
May just have to live with what I have.

Think that Red Hot Sunglow is a three stage paint job, might be a little more costly than a single base color. but it does look good, especially in the sun.

Took my Bobber tank and rear fender to a painter I`ve used before. $350. I supplied the 1 pint of paint ($77) he supplied the clear. I blasted the paint off prior. He said it would have been $450 for a stranger.
