The bike has never given me any problems, including the 2 hour ride I did last week. Parked it as normal and when I went out last night for a ride my clutch wasn't working. I pulled on the lever and had tension but the bike would not move (past the slight rocking in 1st). If i put the bike in neutral it moves freely, in 1st it won't move and in 2nd it will move but there is a large amount of resistance (and none of this changes with the lever in or out). I followed the cable down and it is still attached and moving and there is plenty of fluid. I can't for the life of me figure out what happened while it sat in the garage.

Anyone have any thoughts?

 

I would start with a clutch adjustment.
