Default Clutch is hard to pull

I have a 1968 FLH and the clutch is hard to pull in to the point where it feels like the cable is going to break. I replaced the cable and put cable lube in it but it is still hard to pull . Any suggestions?..

Pull force depends on clutch spring if cable is OK. Maybe stuck pushrod? Pushrod is supposed to be greased from time to time. Check service manual.

Do the springs have the correct tension on them. Is this a problem that just came up?

I have the same problem, did you found something that help? (Brand new cable did not help on me too)
