Default Primary cover interchangability

I know it has to have been asked before, but I can't find it.

Is the older TC 88 primary cover interchangable with the later TC 96 (2008) primary cover?

I am looking to have a cover that provides access to the primary chain tensioner

You can purchase a way overpriced Bully primary cover from Baker that will give you access. If you have the auto tensioner there isn’t a need. If you have an adjustable one, it rarely needs adjusting. Personally, I wouldn’t bother.

Older TC primaries don't fit the newer TC bikes. Gaskets are different.
