Use the Harley stuff. It's straight weight apx 50 non-detergent gear oil without any EP stuff. Use no additives. There is no filter, so you do not want to use a high detergent motor oil. In primary and trans. you want crud to settle. Those magnets are mostly so you know a bearing or something else is going. Since you are doing it yourself and it's only about $20 bucks for the oil, make sure all is warm and sturred up and just drain all three when doing engine. But only do engine and filter ever 5K. Don't worry and any silly time like ever year unless you need to maintain a warranty. Don't fall for tin man BS.

Add a signature line on your bike, year, and ALL the letters Bout time you come up with an avatar also. .And welcome from Hampton Roads Virginia.

I use Amsoil 20W/50 for primary fluid, engine oil and trans fluid.

One would think.... I have from a 73 iron head sporty , 95 softail evo, 03 dyna and 12 street glide and have tried just about every kind of lube recommend and decided that there is no absolute right lube. What works in certain climates in certain applications is infinite. The manual says to use a syn 3 20-50 in all 3 holes on my street glide but the transmission noise and hard shift tells me otherwise. So a synthetic 75-90 quitted that down but the sporty laughs at anything other than a straight 50 in it. Do your research and listen to your bike. And most of all change the lubes often.
