Trams fluid help needed
Everyone has their preference, and all will say they are better than the others. I went Amsoil for a while and switched back to HD dyno oils as the synthetic was too thin making my top end, primary and transmission too noisy, the thicker petroleum products quieted them down considerably. I have worked on my bikes and have seen what 10000 miles between oil changes does and it isn't pretty, our local Amsoil dealer had convinced several folks that they can go 10000 miles between changes with their products.
They also dismiss all the UOAs that show it breaking down long before that. Internet hogwash.
But hey, the Amsoil rep said it can go 10,000 miles and my motor hasn't blown up it must be true. They're not trying to sell their oil at a stupid price.

Amsoil in particular, with their amway pyramid scheme, have people here with a financial interest in you buying their product. Number one oil my ***.

Walmart or such 75w90 full synthetic works year round for me. Changed it yesterday and what I took out was still clear with nothing on the magnetic plug. I’ve used 20w50 , F+ and have really never seen much difference so after 106000 miles I’m just sticking with the 75w90.
