Default Ticking sound?

Greetings,

I've recently discovered a "ticking" sound whenever the clutch is engaged. If I push the lever and disengage the clutch the ticking sound is gone.

The frequency of the "ticking" increases with rpms and to me it sounds more that it comes from the left side/primary.

Worth to mention is that a HD dealer (whom I've reason to believe they didn't do a good job) switched start engine and compensator on it last year. Some suggestions after having read on forums is that a loose compensator screw can make this sound? Or any other suggestions?

The motorcycle is a Night Train 08.

Or perhaps the sound could be descibed as a "rattle". Only when the clutch is engaged.

No, not any knocking whatsoever. Only this rattle. But I haven't really noticed anything strange when riding, except that sound.

How about the exhaust mount for the WYE right behind rear cylinder. Mine cracked and was driving me nuts. Free to check.

exhaust bracker for the Y in exaust, assuming your years has it. Either way check exhaust brackers and mounts behind rear cylinder. Mine squeeked and drove me nuts until I figured it out.
