Default softail fxst 84 - supernut installation

Hello everyone
I am new in this forum and new ower of the FXST 84.
I need information if anyone installed supernut to trasmision. In this type of the bike we have an evolution motor but the trasmistion is the same of shoveled but it has bit difference. In the mainshaft I have the inner race bearing. If we don't remove the inner race the supernut can't installed and If remove the inner race, install the supernut and after we installed again the supernut, we have the issue with the space.

If anyone istalled the supernut to FXST please may share how to installed that?

Is it possible to install supernut in this type of transition model ?

many thanks
Roberto

If you're referring to the item that has a x on it that's not a super nut, it's your inner primary bearing race and you need a special tool puller for that cold the inner primary bearing removal tool. It's an interference fit on the main shaft so it doesn't move..

Agree! Not sure what a "super nut" is. The specific puller is the way to go. Don't cut it off unless you really know what you doing, even then I say don't cut it off. Use a good quality replacement. Not a made in china knock off race.

Nothing better than OEM race and IPB...

Hello, thanks for your support,

I went head. I installed the super nut but I had to removed, with special tool (38euro), the inner race, install te super nut and install new inner race.
The my perplessity if we had much space ... but we have it without the lock plate nut. In the picture we see, but I removed it (I haven't picuture).

I have the problem to primary. I have little leak from down of stator, beetwen the cover of primary and engine, where they touch togheter
