My primary shoe is cracked after 200 miles, just behind the adjustment screw. The old shoe 28900 miles on it broke while on the dyno. The tuner replaced it, thinking the builder didn't reinstall it correctly after building it 3000 mile ago. so, would to much slop in adjustment be the only reason for a crack or is there other reasons that could cause this? Going to get a new shoe, is thinking of reusing the 35.00 gasket being cheap or is it doable?

I you might be able to reuse the gasket if it does not tear during removal.The bottom line is there is a 50/50 chance of leaking.
