Default Primary Fluid

Ok, so it's time for a change and since the shifting of a harley gear box is directly related to how well plate separation takes place, I'm thinking Ams syn atf. Slippage pounding through the gears will also reduce with atf. I'm not concerned about the lube qualities of the atf for chain sprockets , clutch and primary bearings as it will be as good or better than the thicker oils. My main concern is noise in the primary. Anyone made the switch and found the sound from the primary to be more annouying?
