60wt in the primary?

I did try Valvoline VR1 SAE60 in the primary for a short time last year; the shifting was sluggish, it felt as if the clutch plates were slogging through mud, my upshifting seemed slow and I couldn't accurately rev-match downshift. I changed it out rather quickly.
I've experimented with over a dozen different fluids in the primary; Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 has proven to be the absolute best for smooth precise shifting...

Nope never ran it. What would you hope to gain running 60 wt oil when standard harley formula + works perfectly???? 38 Harley's and don't plan on trying it either.

I don't even run Syn 3 in the primary of any '14 or newer bike, it tends to make the primary noisy. The new compensators have more moving parts than earlier models and although stronger, can be noisy. Formula + has been flawless even in the new style compensator. After about 2000 miles the primary in my '14 Limited started making rattling noises at idle. Dumped the Syn 3 that was in it, replaced it with Formula + and never heard that noise again.
