Been using it for years in my 2001 FXD. Easily available at any automotive store anywhere.

Type F (non-foaming) ATF. Its the only thing I'll run.
Or you can call Barnett, Rivera/Primo, or any other aftermarket clutch manufacturer and ask them what they have to say about it.

Since I'm not in the know on the subject, is there any benefit to using regular automotive ATF other than availability / reduced cost?

I only use Castrol GTX 10w30 in my primary. Its the only oil the has a good feel to me and doesnt cause my clutch to slip. Its been good for me for along time.

But my transmission fluid is what I havent found what I like yet. I need to try something new in my transmission as its notchy today. Its almost due for a change though.
