Hit the start button....primary grenaded ....inner and outer....lucky I was at home and not cruising triple digits.....Anyways.....who makes the strongest chain????....the OEM one is a "Regina".....

Diamond, Tsubaki both are available through any drag specialties dealers..

 

Primary chain broke on my 09 fxdl as I was trying to start it today. Looks like it didn't damage any other parts but jammed up pretty good inside the case. Everyone's saying that never, I guess rarely, happens. Glad I wasn't on the road when it happened. Did they switch to a lower quality chain or something, maybe when they went to 6 spd or ???
