Default San Francisco Bound!

My bike was picked up earlier today bound for San Francisco. Being shipped to a dealer for pick-up, then ride home. I'm flying out in a little over 2 weeks. I may need to make some deletions from my initial plan due to new-onset back issues along with my (recently) declining Golden Retriever. Just happy I'm able to get on the bike and forget about the stresses of life for a while. Here's some shots of my bike prior to hitting the road today. Just realized(when loading these pictures), I forgot to get a new inspection sticker!

Let me know if you have any questions about San Francisco or the northern California area.

Ride down from Sacramento and have a good time. You are welcome, too.

Me too, but time and money do not permit. Would love to though. Don't like watching my bike get hauled off somewhere.

Sorry for the slow response(crazy, busy week). It's called the Saddlemen BR4100 back seat bag. Holds a ton, fits the contour of the back seat/tourpack.

Thanks Michael Psycle! I'll take that into consideration. My plan is likely to pick the bike up, head for the coast to get some sand, go over the Golden Gate Bridge and ride to Sacramento to pick up Rt 50.

Let me know how much time you'll have what's important for you see and I'll tell you about possible routes. I presume you are having the bike shipped to Dudley Perkins HD of South San Francisco. They are actually quite close to the airport, just a mile or so north of the airport. They are good people. I've been doing business with them since 1992.
