Default 9 Days No Work No wife No Kids. Where to?

So I've got 9 days with no family and Ill be on vacation. I will miss the wife and kids but man am I ready to have solo time. Any suggestions for great rides leaving from North Jersey. Thinking about packing a bag buying a tent and just leaving with no destination. Is that a terrible idea.

Some of my best rides were out the driveway and ... wherever ... Wasn't it Chuck Berry who said "No Particular Place To Go" :>)

I would head to Skyline and the BRP. I hear some of it's closed, but it would be an easy go-around.

Nova Scotia is an excellent idea. Great riding and nice people. Did it a couple of years ago and had a really nice time. Today (July 1) is their
Canada Day (like our 4th of July).

or... Head up to Milford and take Rt 6, better known as the PA Grand Canyon. That will take you almost to Ohio, with miles of great riding.
