A very good days ride. The road down to Winterset was pretty quiet. For those that don't know, it is also John Wayne's birth home. A little White House and a Museum. I drove by but did not stop in. I went to three of the bridges. One is in town, and the other two I went to are down gravel roads. It's good gravel, 2nd and 3rd Gear all the way in and out. The last bridge I went to has a gift shop. That's the Roseman Bridge.

I took 92 all the way to Omaha which is where I tied down. I really liked that road, as I did 30 through Illinois and Iowa. But I am going to switch up and run 275 through Nebraska. I figure on 14 hours riding from here to Cody, and I have two days to get ther.

These last couple of days wandering around the Heartland have been really cool. I thought it Might be boring, but the reality is that it has been two of the best days I have had. Just taking any old road, and enjoying the drifting.

I thought about you today while I was on 52, and a bit more as I backroaded it up to 30.

Looking at you pic by the red barn, your bike is bug free. No bugs in the Heartland?
