My tool bag.

Most of it is obvious - the baggie has the sockets that fit on the Harley brake bolts

I realized I don’t have a spark plug socket in the bag for some reason - I will grab one before we leave next week although I have never actually used one on the road.

I just tossed the shovel tool roll with updated plugs and a torx set in the saddlebag on the RK. Since the RK's coming up on 3 years old and no kicker to fall back on I picked up one of those Antigravity jump start kits and stuffed it in the saddle bag too just this last Friday. Used it today to jump buddies jeep at work, jesus those things are impressive for what they are.

1/4" long shank Allen wrench, for the transmission lever bolt located behind the primary.

I have these, but just the pouches. I put together my own tools kit. But I love the sit in the bottom, flush and out of the way.

I'd like to add a few items to this thread for people to consider, especially if you do extensive touring.

1. Some type of road service plan. Some options are: through your insurance company, via HOG, AAA, etc. I have AAA RV Plus, and I've been happy with it. I sometimes tour with either a cargo trailer or a pop-up camper and AAA RV Plus covers both my motorcycle and what I am pulling.

2. Add a few of those wet-wipes you get from the Bar-B-Que rib places to your tool pack, along with a small tool rag. Many times, vendors at the various rally's give these tool rags away as a promotional item.

3. Telescoping Magnetic Pick-Up Tool, handy to have to find that lost fastener that you dropped, or find that jam nut that vibrated off in your primary. I carry this one:

4. Along with the nylon cable ties mentioned, some mechanic's wire and a few butt connectors, maybe a spare 1157 bulb for people that have an incandescent brake light

5. Small first aid kit and if you have the time, maybe take a first aid course, ie CPR, Wilderness first aid, etc

For people that want to put together their own toolkit, here is another toolkit pouch option. I've been using this one for years.

Exactly ... Why would anyone want to / need to take advantage of any "current technology" available in case of an emergency? ... Been on the road for over 50 years and the "must haves" have changed
