I have been to Wal Mart in Spearfish. They built a new one right off the exit. Hell, you can't go anywhere without making a trip to WM.

Makes sense! Dumb question. I’ll do that. I keep thinking there’s absolutely nothing out there

ended up getting a 8.5 inch queen from Walmart here at home. Probably should have had it sent there but I'll make it work. Id like to use it for other trips anyway. Takes up about half a saddle bag. I'll order a cheap pillow and maybe a comforter too depending what the forecast looks like. What's easiest to get to from BC? Rapid city or spear fish?

Learned a long time ago in the Oshkosh thunderstorms that an air mattress was a wonderful thing to have with a tent floor leak.

I would think either one, but with the new back road in you could go to RC

One thing to remember about an air mattress is that the air in the mattress will be the same temperature as the air outside. On a hot night...that can be a good thing. OTOH: if it's cool to downright cold outside...you'll want some kind of blanket, quilt, or other layer underneath you to insulate you from the cold air in the mattress.

If you are only using it during the rally I suggest getting whatever you want and shipping it to a near by post office general delivery. Or as someone else suggested, buy something when you get there and toss it before you head out.
