My son and I just returned from a 12 day trip, we had a great time. The weather was great except for rain on the last day, and we put right at 4000 miles on. We first headed to the black hills and were there for 4 days, visited some friends while we were there as well. It was his first time riding the area so we were all over the place, Vanocker canyon (twice), spearfish canyon, needles, iron mountain (twice) including the wildlife loop, the loop out through new castle and so on. We made a trip to deadwood and Sturgis while there, had to hit up the deadwood tobacco company for some stogies while we were there. Lol. Here’s a few pics from there.
The next leg of the trip took us to Kalispel, MT where we stayed for 3 days. We spent time riding around flathead lake, visited the Hungry Horse Dam, of course glacier and drove the loop south around the park. Neither of us had been there before, beautiful country there. We entered Glacier from the west where they had the first ten miles of the road torn out. It was rough, a little muddy, slow going but doable and worth it. For those that haven’t been there, do it!!! Enjoy the pics.

From there we headed to Cody, WY where we spent 4 days. We spent a day in Yellowstone, rode chief joeseph byway, beartooth highway, and down through wind River. Again places neither of us had been, beautiful country and great riding. We spent time in town at the buffalo bill museum, went to a chuck wagon dinner, and found a place the let us play with machine guns lol. More pics.
Excellent pics, looks like you guys had a blast. A friend and I did a trip to Tenn. 2100 miles, just half of yours in 6 days, I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for sharing.
