Mid-Spring Road Trip
I love riding this time of year as there is little tourist traffic and there is little trouble finding a motel
at the end of the day with prices being right, also. .
So I took off on a 3 week ride that took me through 15 states and covered 7700 miles. Four days
of the trip were spent attending a Triumph Rally just outside Harrison, AR which was held at the HUB, http://www.hubinfo.com/
The roads in the area are spectacular!
Timing really means a lot as I lucked out and was well to the north so missed the bad weather that
struck AR and TN. I was surprised to see how late spring was in getting to the northern Ohio
area. It was also my first visit to western WI which has some really pretty country along the Mississippi
River. I was also surprised to see how pretty a town Duluth, MN despite having shipped out iron ore to Gary,
Cleveland, etc for so many years.
