Default L A to Arctic Circle and back

Well I finally did it. Los Angeles to the Arctic Circle and back. Just me and my fly rod. Thirty days and almost 8000 miles.

L A to the Henrys Fork of the Snake River in Idaho. Then Bozeman Montana. Then Calgary to fish the Bow river. Then Lake Louise and Banff. Then up to Dawson Creek and the Alcan Highway to Fairbanks. Then up to the circle on the Dalton Highway. Roads were definitely challenging, especially in the rain, but the views were amazing.

The people were great. I asked a lot of people: "Of all the places in the world, how did you end up here" ? The answers were pretty amazing.

Also, thanks to all of you for all of the great info on this forum. It made my trip possible.

Regards,

Stew

I went and looked up the Dalton Hwy. It is mostly a gravel road. How bad did it beat your bike up?
